Discover the animals in the gardens of GARTEN TULLN. Hedgehog NIG and his friends are hiding and waiting to be found. Once you've located them, a question awaits you – if you pay attention, you'll find the right answer in the garden. You'll receive diamonds for each animal you discover and each question you answer correctly. On your exciting journey, you can also collect leaves, which can help you answer the questions. The more diamonds you collect on your exploration, the richer your knowledge becomes. Choose between different difficulty levels and experience the natural world in the garden as you search.

The Challenge

"DIE GARTEN TULLN – Discover Through Play" was conceived as a digital scavenger hunt, allowing visitors to experience the gardens in an interactive and playful way. The goal was to create an innovative way to explore the nature and themes of GARTEN TULLN while combining fun and learning. The project was officially launched on Saturday, April 21, 2018, as part of GARTEN TULLN's 10th anniversary celebration and was available for iOS and Android for many years. Since then, the digital scavenger hunt has invited many visitors of all ages to discover the gardens in an exciting and modern way.

Our Solution

We developed a GPS-based augmented reality solution that allows children, in particular, to explore the gardens in a playful way. Young visitors could find the gardens' virtual inhabitants, play interactive games with them, and discover their surroundings in a completely new and entertaining way. The solution combines digital experience and educational content: While playing, the children learned interesting facts about the gardens, their inhabitants, and nature. This innovative concept transformed a visit to the gardens into an exciting adventure that combined learning and fun, sparking the children's curiosity. Your browser does not support the video tag.
