Franz Liszt Exhibition – Interactive Stations at the Liszt Museum in Raiding
With the opening of the new permanent exhibition “Le Concert c’est moi – I am the concert”, the Liszt Museum in Raiding has been enhanced with an intensive, multimedia museum experience. Together with ZONE Media and on behalf of the museum, we were able to create five interactive stations that bring the life, work, and myth of Franz Liszt to life in an impressive way. The aim was to make historical content not only informative but also emotionally accessible – through digital storytelling formats, interactive games, and intuitive user guidance.
Process
Task
The exhibition moves between historical documents, artistic design, and modern media technology. Our task was to technically implement several stations that would do justice to both the intimate setting of Liszt's birthplace and the artistic vision of the curatorial team. The applications were to illuminate different aspects of Liszt's life—from the private individual to the celebrated artist—while simultaneously being accessible and understandable to a broad audience, from music lovers to school groups.

Solution
We developed five interactive stations, each offering a different perspective on Franz Liszt's biography. A multimedia concert presentation allows visitors to experience a concert from various viewpoints. In a game, visitors can pack historical objects into Liszt's suitcase – a playful exploration of his restless lifestyle. Other applications showcase his family tree, his international tours, and his stays in Rome. We designed and programmed the stations from a technical standpoint, paying particular attention to usability, visual coherence, and integration into the overall design concept. We also actively supported the museum team with the on-site technical setup. The result is a vibrant exhibition experience that elevates Liszt's life story to a new, interactive level.
